Students Gather Around The World On See You at the Pole Day

Twenty years ago a group of students gathered around the flag poles of three different schools in Burleson, TX to pray for their friends, schools, and leaders.  The tradition eventually spread worldwide, and now takes place on the fourth Wednesday of every year.  I am so very thankful to know that there are high school students in this world who know God and are willing to express their religious freedom in a public forum.

All of the students who participated in the gathering today should be commended.  It takes a lot of courage to stand up and acknowledge God in a world where those who worship God are prosecuted on a daily basis.  The United States and the world need the prayers of these students now more than ever.

Surely the students will be blessed by God for their participation.
